Guillermo Anderson in Berlin - Honduras Embassy Concert Event

Event Overview

On May 30th, 2015, The Embassy of Honduras will hold a concert by Guillermo Anderson (World Famous Musician).

A native of the lively Caribbean port of La Ceiba, Honduras, Guilllermo and his band infuse Afro-Caribbean percussions with contemporary sounds, local rhythms, and folklore of Honduras’ coastal regions. His songs celebrate love, nature and everyday life in this part of the world.

His songs either with his band or as a voice and guitar soloist are filled with descriptions that show the human side and the beauty of his country without losing a sense of its realities and challenges.

As an artist, Guillermo has played an important role in Honduras bringing awareness on important issues like the protection of the environment, health and literacy. His recordings and concerts for children aimed at familiarizing children with rainforest species in danger of extinction have also made him a favorite among the children of his country.

Guillermo is constantly playing throughout Honduras and touring internationally with his band throughout Europe, North and South America. He recently released his eleventh CD in his second 28 city tour of Japan
